After degrees at Ohio University and the Ohio State University, Mr. Giles began a career in Television, working at WBNS-TV, WCPO-TV, WBZ-TV, Warner QUBE, and the Mullin Production Group.In 1986, Ron was one of the original management team who launched QVC, the Shopping Channel, where he was Executive Vice President of Broadcasting.

In 1996, he formed his own consultancy, working with Television clients in Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, The United Kingdom, South Korea and China.Ron and his wife, Joan, a fine pianist, continue a musical life with “Hymns and Their Stories”, a program for Churches about the composers and poets who wrote familiar Hymns.In 2009, Ron published his second book, a novel titled “Cottonwood Pass, A Novel of Suspense Set Against a Contemporary Political Backdrop,” and in 2011, Ron released a novel of historical fiction, “Great Heats,” dramatically set 1000 years ago among the great Mounds and Earthworks of Ohio.
